A Study On Relationship Between Zhao Ding And Archdoves In Early Southern Song Dynasty

Zhao Ding was one of the most distinguished person in the early Southern Song Dynasty who had a significant impact on the State.But for a long time,the focus of the academic research on him was negative,and considered that he was a surrender,more seriously,people usually denied his great contributions to the early Song Dynasty.While this article makes an attempt to probe that he was different form the surrender,and analyzes his basic ideas on the conflict between Song and Jin,and his contradictions with the surrender,as well as his political impact on Southern Song Dynasty,the goal of the article is to make a fair and reasonable evaluation on Zhao Ding.This paper consists of three sections as follows.Section I:Introduce Zhao Ding's life.mainly from the level of historical environment to inspect,in oder to understand his personal profile.Section II:Discuss the formation of the fighter-group and surrender-group,and his basic policy on the Jin Dynasty,and his struggle with the surrender-group and so on.These will help me have a profound understanding on him.Section III:Discuss Zhao Ding's status and his influence on politics in Southern Song,and give him a new evaluation.The purpose is to reveal his influence on the relationship of Song and Jin,and his impact on the setting up of the Southern Song Dynasty capital ,as well as military construction,and so we can evaluate Zhao Ding objectively and fairly.
