With the development of multimedia, network and modern information technology, it's necessary for the secondary vocational education to change their former teaching models, teaching methods and teaching tools. State "New Curriculum Reform Program" has been put forward: Promote students to participate actively, will to explore, be diligent in working hard, train students'abilities of collecting and processing information, acquiring new knowledge, analyzing and solving problems and also communication skills and cooperation abilities. As social software for collaboration, Wiki provides web-based forms of super-link structure. Besides, as a specific information dissemination tool, collaboration tool, interactive education application tool, Wiki with its features of collaboration and sharing, provides a platform for learners to construct their new knowledge. All members of the Wiki platform can browse, create, change the content, and that all the modified pages will be preserved. On the basis of Co11aborative Learning theory, combining the technological characteristic of Wiki, HDWiki is adopted in this research to build an English writing platform for the secondary vocational school and is put into practical use, which provides reference for popularization and application by analyzing the feasibility of it.This thesis includes the following five sections: Chapter 1 Prologue, gives an introduction on the background, current situation, main work and significance of the research. Chapter 2 Wiki technologies and collaborative learning theory, describes the relevant characteristics, norms of Wiki technology, and basic elements, pattern of cooperative learning theory, it is technical support for the research and theoretical basis. Chapter 3 Construction and Implementation of Wiki English writing platform, mainly describes the conditions and building process of Wiki platform, and this will make a perfect preparation for action research. Chapter 4 Wiki collaboration platform action research, describes the early action design and the specific application through grouping - writing - modification - evaluation - improvement, verifies the role and the advantages in enhancing students'interest and writing ability. Chapter 5 Summary and Outlook, analyzes the shortcomings of Wiki platform for future improvement and extension.
