A Study On The Protection And Development Of Chinese Traditional Music From Qu Jiaying's Concert In Gu'an

Since the day when Qu Jiaying's ancient music was discovered, right away, it was called "the Chinese music living fossil "by Chinese music academic circles, and it has extremely high learning value.In 2005,it was listed in one of the top-ten protections of Hebei Province's "national folk culture projects".It was listed in "the first group of national grade being non-matter's cultural heritage protection directory" in 2006.However, in order to make this Chinese folk music gem handed down from generation to generation, and preserve this tradition, we still have a very long way to go and a lot of work to be done.Chinese traditional music is a very important ingredient of Chinese non-matter's cultural heritage.Containing the Chinese nation's cultural gene, spirit essence, thought marrow, and cultural idea, it is our national spirit that is accumulated from the long range's productive labor and the living practice;it is the group consciousness and spirit that contain the nation's values, mentality structure, qualities and emotions,etc;it is the essence and core of the nation's soul and culture. This article takes Qu Jiaying's ancient music as an exemple and combines with some famous non-matter's cultural heritages, such as Mongolian matouqin, Xi'an ancient music, Southern music,and Beijing Zhi Huasi music, and so on to go deep into some problems concerning the protection,development and use of Chinese traditional music.It brings forward self distinctive viewpoint especially on developing Chinese tradional music as the resource of Music course.
