According to the WHO statistics, the world approximately has 180 million people with Mental Retardation, and it accounts for 3% of the total world population, it is equal to hearing disorder population 50 times, nervous system disorder patient's 28 times, blind person quantity 25 times. According to the national disabled person sample investigation data announcement, in 2006 our country each kind of disabled person's total is 82,960,000 people, people with Mental Retardation are 5,540,000, which accounts for 6.68% of all; But Disability children who are 6-14 years and must be go to school are 2,460,000, children with intelligence disabilities are 760,000. It is very meaningful that people help them improve their social adaption ability whether to their families or community.The intelligence and the adaptive behavior are two standards to diagnose whether people have Mental Retardation or not. To those children with Mental Retardation, it is unable to change intelligence which had been damaged; however, it can compensate their adaptive behavior by tomorrow's training. Therefore, the focus of their training is the training of their adaptive behavior. At present, from the research of mental handicap children's adaptive behavior, everybody thought that should early carry on the intervention as far as possible, and it will be better more early.In China, from attending the Special Olympics games in 1987 to holding the world-class Special Olympics in 2007, not only the Special Olympics movement obtained the vigorous development during the short 20 years, but also other project like fusion movement, the Special Olympics university plan and so on has also obtained the widespread promotion. And it not only provided a stage to showcase their athletic ability for people with intellectual disabilities, but also let more people understand them, helped them to integrate the society well.This study of children with intellectual disabilities let them take part in the inclusive activity, carried out comparison, and specifically analyzed integration of movement for the independent functional factors, cognitive factors and social/ self-Factor, using the Child's Adaptive Behavior Scale (urban version) which was worked out by Yao Shuqiao,Gong Yaoxian in Hunan Medical University in 1994.Conclusions of the thesis are as follows:1. Through the integration of school-age MR children's exercise intervention can improve their social adaptability2. Through the integration of school-age children with intellectual disabilities exercise intervention, can enhance their work skills and economic activity, but their sense of self-care movement and the effect is not significant3. Through the integration of school-age children with intellectual disabilities exercise intervention, so improves children's language and time and space orientation abilities and their cognitive ability4. Through the integration of school-age children with intellectual disabilities exercise intervention, enhances view of mentally handicapped children's personal preferences and social responsibility, improve self-control.
