People pay great attention to study in nowadays society. To know how to study is the basic ability for individual and people have to learn this ability. Knowing the knowledge and the strategy of metacognition can help the learners do self-study better.From the knowledge of metacognition, summerize the researches of the training of metacognition before. With these researches and the physics experiments, train the students the ability of metacognition. By doing the physics experiments, develop the knowledge of metacognition, the stucture of physics knowledge, and the study measures gradually. Study the students with the ways of controled experiment and questionnaire. this paper includes three parts:the training of plan and purpose, monitored training of metacognition process and the training of self evaluation.From the metacognition training, it can be found out that the training of metacognition and the level of the metacognition is interrelated to the scores of the physics experiments. The trained students's these two abilities are increased not only in the plan period and the prepared period, but also the evaluation and the summary after the experiments. The interests in the experiments, the study ways and the ability of observation and caculation are enhanced obviously. Meanwhile, it could also be found out that the training of metacognition differs a lot among the students who are different in the level of metacognition and the results of the experiments.The author makes a few suggestions by studying the practice of the training of metacognition, like training the students according to their different metacognition levels, enhancing the feedbacks during the training process and developing the study levels of the students by using metacognition.
