The Construction Of Student Association In Xinjiang Universities

College student's associations are the spontaneous public organizations in term of its specific procedure,which based on the student's interest, hobby, aspiration. It is the important carrier of ideological and political education, is the second classroom of self-education, self-control, self-service, is the flat roof of education for all-around development, is the channel of opening out the college essenceWith the continuously development of higher education reform,the number of the College student's associations increased rapidly, from 150 in 2005 to 400 in 2009.it includes six style, ideological and political education association, commonweal association, academically practice association, art association, physical training association, publication association. It is significant to study the constructions of College student's associations Xinjiang universities, in which the minority college student's proportion account for more than 50%.Then, how is the current development of College students association in XinJiang universities. How to combine the actually conditions to Strengthen the building of student associations? The answer is the major purpose of the study. Some managing and educational theories was used in my study. Through literature and documents extensive collection, questionnaire, interviews, comparative analysis researches, I describe the definition, characteristic and function of College students association, and take Xinjiang University, Xinjiang Agricultural University, Shihezi University and Xinjiang teacher training University as investigate object, analyze the development of the College students associations, including personnel composing, managing system, activity condition and so on,on the basis, anlysize the questions exist in College students association and find out the reasons. Through comparative research, eight measures have been put forward to strengthen the construction of College students association in Xinjiang:adjust the structure of College students association; encourage and attract upperclassman and minority college students take part in College students association; perfect managing systems; increase supply; improve the quality of activities,apply professional guide; foster College students association culture; bring ideological and political education to College students association; potentate the research of College students association theory.
