Study On The Current Situation And Operational Mechanism Of College Group Contests In Anhui Province

By using literatures, investigation, data analysis and logical analysis, the paper analyzes the current situation of college group contests in Anhui Province, and initially constructs its operational mechanism.The results reflect that only a minor percentage of college students participate in group contests in Anhui Province, and they mainly take part in competitive sports and those with little requirement for facilities and space. They are mostly motivated by interest, physical constitution and social interaction, etc. In Anhui Province college group contests are organized by college administrative units or students sports societies, of which the former plays the main role. The students are not satisfied with the organization of colleges. The funds of group contests depend mainly on allocate funds, with little other ways of funding. So now the funds are not enough for the needs of group contests. The principal function of organizing, managing and executing of students are not exerted. The two factors that influence college students' participation into group contests lies respectively in the organizer and the students themselves. Meanwhile, to improve the level of college group contests in Anhui Province, the paper constructs its operational mechanism by combining local characteristics with learning from those successful experiences.
