A Survey On The Interaction Between Sports Contests And Campus Culture In The Higher Vocational Colleges In Fujian Province.

This paper conducts a survey on the interaction between sports contests and campus culture in the higher vocational colleges in Fujian Province. It researches on the existing problems and proposes constructive ideas to solve them. It provides a theoretical basis and reference for the PE department and managers in the higher vocational colleges. The research results are as follows:1. There is interaction existing between vocational college sports contests and campus culture in Fujian, but the interaction is not obvious.2. The leadership of the Fujian vocational colleges doesn't emphasis enough on the college sports events. The function of the campus culture is not fully performed.3. There is still some distance to go for the current Fujian vocational college sports facilities in order to meet the national requirements. Sports management system is not sound; sports contests lack of funds; and there are just a few funding sources.4. School media propaganda is not enough for Vocational College campus activities, sports contests. There are only a few lectures on sports.5. The biggest factor to restrict the interaction between the sports contests and the campus culture is that the spirit of the college campus doesn't merge into the sports activities well. The sports authorities and associations do not give full play to the roles. There is a lack of theoretical guidance and interactive ways.For the above situations, the article makes the following suggestions:the leaders of Fujian vocational colleges should improve their understanding of the interaction between the sports activities and the campus culture. They should put this interaction into the school's schedule and increase the financial input for the sports activities. They should also enhance the management system of the sports and intensify the propaganda. And they need to strengthen the construction and management of students'clubs. They need to adhere to the spirit of the campus as the core during the interaction between the two and enrich the interactive forms.
