Building a urban agglomerations of central Yunnan which take Kunming as the center towns will have a great significance for the social and economic development of Yunnan Province. Theory and Practice has proved that the construction of urban agglomeration should take to support from industrial development, and the industrial system decided the space and depth of the development of urban. The construction of Yunnan central urban agglomeration is in the initial stage, research about the industry support for Yunnan central urban agglomeration have a certain forward-looking and practical significance. This research will also provide a valuable suggestion for the urban agglomeration building, economic development and the layout of industry.In this paper, we carried out a more detailed introduction about the basic concept of the urban agglomeration, summarized the common problem of China's urban agglomeration construction and also carried out a detailed introduction about the construction of urban agglomeration in central Yunnan. Secondly, we provides theoretical support for the research issues of industry support for the Yunnan central urban agglomeration by two groups. One is the urban agglomeration take arise the regional economic growth and other one is industry support for the rise of urban agglomeration. Moreover, we take a further realistic urban agglomeration support for building urban agglomeration by the case studies of Zhujiang Delta region became into a "world factory". Then, we take the empirical analysis of central Yunnan Urban Agglomeration on regional economic impact and the industrial structure and division of labor between the cities in Central Yunnan to found some information on the level of economic development in Central Yunnan urban agglomeration, the development prospects of the industrial structure and the industrial specialization level. We combine with empirical analysis and the development of the advanced experience of urban agglomeration and make prospects for the industry support for development trend of Yunnan central urban agglomeration. Finally, we make some policy recommendations for the Yunnan central urban agglomeration building and development, such as:support for new industries, optimize the industrial structure; strengthen urban division of labor groups, scientific guide the industrial layout; establish a common market, improve the flow of production factors; strengthen land control and employment incentives.
