Nx Company Materials Management Information System Planning Studies

In recent years, the information process advance rapidly, especially the corporate governance mechanisms under the conditions of market economy, organizational structure and the dramatic change in market behavior, leading to the desperate needs in advanced management ideas, management models, and management tools. Information technology construction, which has been taken advantage as the effective support means to enhance corporate management level and to support the changing ways of enterprises'development, has become a consensus among the State Grid Corporation. It is based on ERP and other advanced information management to optimize business process reorganization and management processes, to improve the power grid construction and management levels, and to promote changes in corporate management and optimization.Materials management is one of the important part in electrical equipment management, and it is also the forerunner of other management work. In the past, in terms of insufficient attention to the material information paid by the company, the leadership of whose also failed to recognize the important role played by materials management on business operations and the economic benefits, resulting in the fact that not only material management information level is not high, but also effects the company's economic and management level. Therefore, in the trend of promotion of national grid to information technology, NX company became the pilot units of information technology of State Grid Corporation, NX company promotes the improvement of material operational capacity by informational material, accelerates the pace of reaction speed, improves material management process to make sure the timeliness and effectiveness of the of supplies delivery, reduces operating costs and material costs in particular, strengthens the management of suppliers so as to make all links of supply chain management more rational, thereby improves the overall business management. This paper selected company NX as the research object. Through the use of literature review, interview analysis, critical success factors method, enterprise systems planning method, flow chart, etc., combined with NX company the current status information management on supplies, on the basis of which established material information systems architecture and analyzed the relationship between Materials Management module and other companies'information management module, and formed the NX systematic information system of the company. This study has a certain significance for NX corporate decision makers to provide a guiding framework on the implementation of enterprise materials information management system, meanwhile, this research can enrich the theory of materials management and has a certain theoretical significance for providing new management ideas; on the other hand , this paper has some degree of reference means on for this industry and others on the implementation of material management information system.
