Kunming County Economic Development

Country-level economy play an important role in China's economy, country development is the precondition of agriculture development, while country supply the basic production and living materials for the city. After the founding of New China, the Chinese government adopt the strategy of "government-led center of gravity of the large and medium cities". This strategy has allowed our country establish a relatively complete industrial system in a relatively short period of time. Shortened the gap between the developed countries, but also resulted in the status of urban-rural dual structure:large and medium cities obtain an initial prosperity and development, the development of rural areas is slow, or even recession. Into the twenty-first century, the Central attaches great importance to the three rural issues, and brings forward the viewpoint of develop and "boost the country-level economy" in CCP's 16th and 17th Congress. Kunming is the capital of Yunnan Province, one of the most important cities in southwest China, and also a bridgehead for the Southeast Asian countries. Kunming development rely on the development of his subordinate fourteen countries, in addition to, this fourteen countries development has certain referenced significance of China country-level development. For this reasons, this paper choose Kunming country-level economy development as research content.This paper sums up the literature about country-level development, and builds a theoretical basis of country-level development using the theory of regional economics, development economics, and industrial economics. Based on the qualitative analysis of the Kunming country-level economy development, build the evaluation index system of country-level economy development using theory of country-level economy development, integrate the 21 third class index of Kunming's fourteen counties into four prinpical components, get the comprehensive factor score after calculating, and carry out ranking. Based on the comprehensive factor score, analysis the level of Kunming fourteen countries' economy development using cluster analysis, class this fourteen countries into five categories. Finally, based on the cluster analysis, refer to the three sections in Kunming, choose a typical country in each section as an example to discuss the suggestion of country-level economy development.
