Study On The Development Model Of Rural Ecotourism In Kunming City

In recent years, along with rural tourism grows vigorously, ecological environment problems are getting more and more attention of local related department and lots of scholars and experts. In addition, a growing number of urban residents’ physical and mental health is influenced by the increasing life and work pressure and the constant deteriorating atmospheric environment. The tourism demands and consumption habits change continuously which means single sightseeing tour fits tourists’ demands no longer, followed by people’s social lifestyle changing. To city dwellers, rural equals to nature and ecology means healthy in some certain, so rural eco-tourism emerges as the times require. As we all know, rural eco-tourism can help city dwellers to get rid of stressful work and disordered life environment and obtain a full relax for both physical and mental temporarily.Rural eco-tourism makes a difference in upgrading rural economy, improving farmers’ incomes, enriching farmers’ spiritual life and becomes an important way of building a new socialist countryside. In other words, rural eco-tourism means more attention will be paid to the idea of sustainable development and the protection of ecotope, and the nature of rural eco-tourism is about developing rural ecological environment scientific and gaining both economic and ecological environment benefits.So far, led by tourism industry in Kunming, the development of rural eco-tourism is overall in the exploratory phase, however, some places are now becoming the notable attractions of Yunnan province. There are four main city districts, Wuhua district, Panlong district, Xishan district, Guandu district, and the development of rural eco-tourism in all of these full districts are special. The government of Kunming pays a lot of attention to the development of rural eco-tourism, provides lots of powerful policy support to cultivate a batch of demonstration sites of rural eco-tourism and forge world famous brand.This paper adopts both qualitative and quantitative methods, builds quantitative models to study the developing modes of rural eco-tourism in those four districts in Kunming on the base of investing typical case and combing related literature, so as to provide rural eco-tourism theory support for other countryside in Kunming.Chapter 1 of this paper is introduction which generally concludes research background, research significance, present research situation of home and abroad, and research methods. The related rural eco-tourism conceptions and theoretical basis are summarized in chapter 2. In chapter 3, the analysis of the base of rural eco-tourism development mode includes development status, characteristic and Constraints. Chapter 4 is the core of this paper and tells the development mode, existing problems of rural eco-tourism in Kunming, at the same time, studies the case of Laoyudun village. In chapter 5, quantitative model has been built and the satisfaction of rural eco-tourism in Kunming has been analyzed through factor analysis. In chapter 6, some recommendations about developing rural eco-tourism in Kunming are given. In the last chapter, a summarization is given and existing deficiencies about this paper are pointed and the future research focus is come up with.
