MingTai Paper Product Company is a privately-run enterprise. The total investment of the whole project is intended to be more than 5 hundred million Yuan, with a floor area of about 500 mu. The whole project will be finished by three periods within five years. In the first period, the production capacity will reach a hundred thousand tons, in the second period, it will reach two hundred thousand tons, and in the third period, it will reach two hundred thousand tons. In addition to this, the whole project will include the project of power generation, steam supply, wharf, cardboard and carton. The first period with an annual production capacity of a hundred thousand tons of A class strong semi-chemical corrugated paper (or high-class paperboard, kraft paper and liner board ), has been brought into production on Dec 28, 2007.In a sharp market competition, some companies disappear quickly while others become stronger and stronger. Why? The main factors is whether the company has core competency or not. In this thesis, we will analyse deeply the production formation and model of core competency of MingTai Paper Product Company, and the way to promote its core competency. It will also provide methods and ideas to creat and promote the core competency of the company and purse sustainable development of the MingTai Paper Product Company.In this thesis, we will try to analyse the way how MingTai Paper Product Company to creat, train and promote of core competency. Meanwhile, we will also try to find the way to avoid the lost of the company's core competency. Further more, we should find out the way to avoid the lost of the existing advantages and temporary success of us. MingTai Paper Product Company should incessantly establish the new core competency of its own to avoid the lost of the core competency. We suggest that MingTai Paper Product Company should introduce and implement effectly the GB/T-19001 idt ISO9001 quality system standard, GB/T-24001 environmental management system standard, GB/T-28001 occupational health and safety integrated system standard. In the management of circulation of raw and processed material and finished goods, we should introduce the ERP. We should pay more attention to the purchase and distribution of the goods to keep on the better operation. We should increase our inventory when the price of the waste paper is low and when the price is high, we should maintain a restricted produce. At anytime, we should endeavour ourself to reduce material consumption in each link of the production chain. We should set up a check-up system concerned with the iciba target and energy consumption and these should be linked up with everyone involved. We should establish close contact between personal income and company achievement. Besides, to maintain and promote the core competency of MingTai PaperProduct Company, we strongly suggest that the company should exert itself to the management of operation. To avoid the lost of the core competency, we should mainly pay more attention as follows:1. Analyse the core competence of MingTai Paper Company in detail.2. Research on how to form and keep the company core competency.3. Give good suggestion on how to improve and retain core competence of the company.
