Chengdu Xx Technological Innovation Capability Assessment Study

Innovating is the fundamental ability for the high-tech company to survive and development in the market. Integrated circuit industry is one of the most important high-tech industries for a country. Its scale and technical level of development has become a measurement of a country's comprehensive national strength. The IC industry sub-industry, integrated circuit design dominated the whole IC industry chain, it is on the top of the pyramid, with the entire chain of the most important strategic significance, but also faces the most intense challenge.Innovation is the most important key factor for IC design companies to maintain their survival and development. The only way for those companies to avoid catching up and maintain high profits is also innovation. China's IC design industry is still at a relatively low level. With comparison with foreign countries, we still have large gaps in market share and technical content. With the international trend of global economic integration, how to enhance their technical capacity, fast catch up with developed countries, the opportunities and challenges are placed in front of China's IC design enterprises.Based on this situation, the paper selected Chengdu××companies, in the Chengdu region as a representative developing IC design companies. Through the establishment of integrated circuit design innovation ability evaluation index system, a more objective and accurate evaluation of the enterprise technological innovation is finished. After our investing and researching, we subsequently understood the impacts of internal factors and external environment in technological innovation system. We found the reason discouraging the IC design companies to develop their technological innovation capability, explored the methodology and policies to improve the innovation capacity of a integrated circuit design company.
