As the conception of organizational identity being estabished, it has become an important variety to measure the integration of the organization.Althogh relevant research at home was carried out late, it has a rapid development.However, there are some misguided opinions existing in the current research of organizational identity at home, in which one of the most imoportant is to lanch research within the structure of organizations merely.The conception of organizational identity itself is also derivatized from the theory of social identity.Although there has been particular features within modern organizations, it can be taken as one of the sub-states in the multi-social identities.In fact, it had already been proved by the new institutionalism within organizational research that the development of organizations was closely ralated to macroscopical institution and cultural circumstances. In the process of transition what china now is experiencing, while planned economy and market economy are interdependent, economic orgnizations starts their reconstruction. For those staff in state-owned enterprises, being the members of the orgnization, their ways of identity will necessarily change. Although there are some scholars at home who has already indicated the external factors are among the ones which affect orgnizational identity, related proof is seen little.Considering the significance of orgnizational identity and social identity to social integration, it is pitiful to see the short of such proof.This thesis consists of four chapters. The researching aims, meaning of the choosing the issue and research methods I are presented in the Intrduction.In Chapter One, it mainly deals with theories of orgnizational identity and social identity from the west, and puts emphasis on commentating the relevant internal documents.It then argues the misunderstandings, what are attemped to be modified in this thesis.The development course of orgnizational research and identity research is stated in Chapter Two from the view of the development the two subjects. Based on the situation in China, it then points out the necessity of the research on orgnizational identity,In Chapter Three, it first intrdoces the features of selected enterprises and finds out their orientations, then it puts the corresponding varieties into quantitative analysisIn Chapter Four, it draws brief conclusions according to the analytical results, and makes perspectives to the following research.
