The tension of multiple company identities is derived from the construction of multiple corporate identities in order to meet the self-definition needs and interest demands of multiple external stakeholders,which ultimately leads to the identification of multiple enterprises.The conceptual tension and reconciliation of multiple company identity tension have not been widely concerned by the academic community From the perspective of identity theory,this paper explores the source structure measurement and reconciliation mechanism of identity tension in multi-enterprise from the perspective of identity theory.The specific contents are as follows: Study 1 selects multiple case studies,and finds that identity tension directly comes from identity ambiguity and identity conflict,and indirectly from Identity diversity and competition overload through grounded theory research method.The external factors that affect the tension of identity include the current resource level of the enterprise,the level of positive identity holding,the social network situation and the level of access to identity information.Study 2 focused on the development of multiple enterprise identity tension force list.Through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis,we found that multiple company identity tension was composed of 15 items in 6 dimensions: identity persistence maintenance /threat,identity uniqueness threat / maintenance,and identity subordination / isolation.Study3 based on the theory of identity management for multiple business identity tension harmonic process research,through the method of grounded theory to dig case,multiple company identity tension harmonic model was established to explore the enterprise inside and outside two harmonic path,i.e.before the implementation of multiple company identity tension to harmonic,on the basis of comprehensive assessment.Externally,corporate altruism brings trust from external stakeholders,and internally,identity management and identity assertion are implemented to achieve external stakeholder filtering.Based on this found the key mechanism of harmonic multiple company identity tension——identity co-creation,through the identity with external stakeholders namely find or create similar self promotion need,reconcile between the two sides increase the self definition need overlap content,reduce the incompatibility between identity,finally realized the multiple company identity tension harmony.Through the exploration of multiple company identity tension,this study enriches the relevant theories of multiple enterprise identity,and provides a foundation for the subsequent solution of the identity tension problem in company practice.
