Off-day Economic Zone Equipment Manufacturing Industry Cluster Development

In recent ten years, global countries and regions are attracted by the industrial cluster which has a great energy. Industrial clusters can enhance the industrial competitiveness greatly and strengthen the competitive advantage of regional markets. Equipment manufacturing industry has a long industrial chain and strong correlation, which determine it should take the cluster model. It is the basis of one region and one country, which is the guarantee for the national security and has a fundamental and strategic position in one country. Based on the development of equipment manufacturing industry, the United States, Japan and Germany achieved economic take-off. Guanzhong——Tianshui economic zone is one of the four equipment manufacturing cluster bases, which is the special one. We should take the equipment manufacturing cluster to improve the competitive advantage of regional economic zone, narrow the gap between the eastern and western region gradually and achieve the coordinated development. Therefore, it is significant to analyze the equipment manufacturing cluster.This paper can be divided into four parts except introduction.The first part, we defined the concept of equipment manufacturing industry and the industrial cluster, then analyzed the motivation and development model of industrial cluster.The second part, including chapter three and four. Based on the "diamond model" of Michael Porter, we analyzed the realistic situation from six elements. This paper built a network model from three levels, and used it to analyze the status of equipment manufacturing industry cluster. The analysis showed that cluster has potentiality and advantages, but advantages are not obvious and the potentiality has not fully realized. Based on front, we calculated the industrial concentration, then selected indicators and used principal component analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of equipment manufacturing industry cluster. Results showed that the overall development of equipment manufacturing cluster level is not high and uneven development.The third part, according to the problems, we analyzed the reasons and gave some countermeasures to promote the development of cluster. The reasons include that the production factors are not full used,enterprises lack of cooperation human mechanism is not perfect and unreasonable layout of support industry. According to these, we can take the flowing measures:use factors fully,strengthen collaboration,improve the personnel system and promote rational distribution of industry.The forth part is chapter six. Summary and outlook of the whole paper.The innovation include two aspects:first, based on the "diamond model", we built a network model from vertical, horizontal and environmental levels. Second, based on the "diamond model" and "network model", this paper evaluated the competitiveness of equipment manufacturing industry cluster and analyzed the problems and reasons in Guantian economic zone.
