In the context of the rural elderly population increasing, the way to old-age security of rural families face significant challenges. China's current model of rural old-age security pension is still a family-based, although in 2009 our country have carried out the deployment of new rural social pension insurance, but it has in the pilot phase and will no cover all rural residents, and new rural pension insurance only isprovide economic security to rural elderly persons, but the elderly, day care and spiritual comfort also get from families. Therefore, in the rural aging, rural young population outflow, national new rural pension insurance does not sound pattern, the rural family pension faces many problems and risks.Based on the Rural Family Support, this paper take a small village as the research object. Using the combination of theoretical and empirical research, the combination of macro and micro studies, surveys and interviews and other methods of combining I make a systematic study for the rural old-age security model changes, problems and risks. Including:Introduction to part mainly introduces the background and significance of this study, analyzes the related researchs at home and abroad and shortcomings, then proposes a major concern of this study and application of research methods; in the second chapter mainly analyzes the changing process of the rural family pension from the macro and theoretical, and the main purpose is to pave the theory way to demonstrate the current problems of the rural family pension. In this part, the Rural Family Support of the Transition process is divided into three periods to detailed interpretation and from the process of change we can see the rural family support function is in the process of gradually weakening; the third chapter, mainly from the perspective of evidence and micro demonstrated the challenges and in this part the home of living is the object of the study, through questionnaires and interviews we analyze a small village in old age security situation, research findings is that family support is still the main way of old age security, but also faces many problems and risks; fourth chapter is to study the conclusions and policy recommendations, from the above research and analysis we can come to the conclusion Family support is still the main pension in the rural areas, however, rural household support faces the challenges of the rural population aging, the core of family structure in rural areas, rural land security weakening and the transformation of values, therefore, in the design of the development of rural old-age security mode government must respecte the current situation in rural areas, under the maintenance and strengthening the rural household support develop the new rural pension insurance, establish a suitable age security system in rural areas.
