My Telecom Light Into The Copper Project Schedule Management

With the development of the communication and the increasingly intense competition in the communication market, the task of communication construction is becoming more and heavier, and the requirement for project duration is becoming more and stricter. Under the theory guidance of project time management, this thesis has researched and collected the data about the present situation of the optical fiber substitution for trunk copper cable project construction of China Telecom, adopts the project time management theory for comprehensive analysis and comparison, found the exist main problems. Meanwhile, it utilizes the excellent tools of project time management theory in four phases of the project for resolving the practical problems. According to the sequence of four phases in the project, which are preparation, design, construction and acceptance, it researches and analyses the project planning, controlling and revising of each phase. Finally, it has a brief discussion about the resource balance, cost control and quality warranty of the whole project.It uses the research system of theory combing with practice and more emphasizes the practical parts. Through the theories, tools and methods of project time management applied to the optical fiber substitution for trunk copper cable project construction, it tries to include all cycles and activities of the practical condition, concludes the research models and methods of the project activity list, activity sequencing, duration estimating, duration planning and controlling, explores the application rules of the theories, tools and methods of project time management in the each phase and whole project management of the optical fiber substitution for trunk copper cable project construction, establishes a set of project time management template for the optical fiber substitution for trunk copper cable project construction so as to reduce the project duration and increase the project construction efficiency.
