Empirical Studies Of Regional Financial Development Of The Sichuan Economic Growth

The global financial crisis which is caused by sub-prime mortgage has heavily hit the global economy. Countries all over the world experienced an economic stagnation and even regression. Thus, the financial entities, although not directly create value, but its operation and development affect the real economy, and sometimes even determine the economic trends. Therefore, the question of the relationship between financial development and economic growth has become an important theory of financial development issues, which has aroused widespread concern scholars from various countries.The financial system, as a part of the country a national economic system, not only directly reflects the regional characteristics of the economy, and regional economic development, largely by means of the regional financial operation was able to carry out. Therefore the financial operation and development display a strong regional characteristic. The current regional gap is a major constraint to a balanced and coordinated development of China's economy, while the regional financial imbalance is one of the key elements. So, how does regional financial affect regional economic growth? How much influence does regional financial affect regional economic growth? How much influence do regional differences in the financial affect the regional economy?To study these issues, my paper, by means of empirical analysis, from the perspective of regional economics, study Sichuan regional financial development and economic growth process and status, as well as regional financial development impact on economic growth. I study the impact on the regional economy caused by Sichuan and Zhejiang's regional financial difference via inter-regional comparative analysis, and draw some conclusions on the basis of empirical research on Sichuan and Zhejiang's financial and economy.My paper is divided into six parts: The first section describes the topics of the background and significance, makes an overview of the domestic and foreign literature and research, and explains the research logic, methods and innovation points. The second part defines the financial development, economic growth and relevant indicators, and clarifies the theoretical basis and theoretical framework of this article. Part three describes financial development and economic growth history, present situation and characteristics of Sichuan. In part four, I make a comparative analysis and regression analysis on Sichuan and Zhejiang's financial and economic development, analysis financial differences impact on regional economic development. Part five proposes strategy of making Sichuan into a financial center in west, and seeks financial means to quickly develop Sichuan economy. Part six draws conclusions and the question of further research.
