However, there is a substantial change in competitive position with the progress of society, especially the development of global economic integration (global making, global purchasing, global marketing).The focus of the competition comes from how to improve labor productivity and reduce raw material costs to a lot of logistics activities, such as reducing stock, lowing transportation costs, speeding up production and sales processes. So logistics is the concept which can be said developed with the rapid economic development. As an advances organization and management techniques, logistics has been appreciated and used in many countries and enterprises. And it has become internationally recognized as "the third profit source" following the raw materials and labor. Their success stories have also repeatedly shown that in information technology as the representative of modern science and technology development of modern manufacturing industry is concerned newer and higher demands of today, the development of logistics industry is China's inevitable choice to enhance the manufacturing competitiveness of the manufacturing sector to upgrade the industrial structure, thus enhancing the overall competitiveness of our country.In view of the important role to enhance the overall competitiveness of the manufacturing and the leading position of manufacturing logistics in the development of China's logistics industry, and current manufacturing and logistics development of China's reality, that is, not only the development of the logistics industry can not meet the requirements of manufacturing industry into a competitive advantage and profit sources, the contrary by many companies as a "heavy burden" of this situation, Ma'anshan is selected as the research object.Based on the theory of modern logistics, absorbing and learning from the interaction of the two industries Theoretical Study at home and abroad, using the method of Quantitative and qualitative analysis, try to make the theoretical research combined with the practical example. On the basic of evaluating and predicting the manufacturing logistics development of Ma'anshan from the regional point of view, the paper mainly put forward my views on the issues such as how to improve the level of the local logistics and the overall competitiveness of the manufacturing in the face of the "logistics bottleneck" problem and so on.
