Study On The Coordination Of The Joint Development Of Manufacturing And Logistics Industry In Shaanxi Province

As the important part of the secondary industry and tertiary industry of the national economy,manufacturing and logistics industry constitute the most potential point for future economicgrowth.“Joint development of the two industries” not only becoming a hot issues of experts andscholars at home and abroad, also becoming the focus of attention to seek the commondevelopment for manufacturing, logistics industry and government departments.Manufacturing and logistics industry forming the configuration of joint development rely onthe closely related association and relatively clear division of labor. The coordination of jointdevelopment represent the extent of joint development and win-win results of the two industries,which mutually affecting and reinforcing through the division of labor and cooperation. Themanufacturing enterprises need to enhance its core competitiveness through the optimization andupgrading of industrial structure, also the logistics enterprises need to continue enhancing itssynthesized service capabilities by expanding its social logistics needs, to enhance its marketcompetitiveness. Those two factors made urgent requirement of the joint development. Firstly，the article explained the coordination of the two industries with coordination theory andcooperative game theory, and it analyzed implication, mechanism and nexus of manufacturingand logistics at home and abroad. Secondly it made a detailed analysis of the current evolvementof the two industries from the areas of the total economy, industrial structure and other aspects.Afterwards it briefly summarized the current situation and formation mechanism of the jointdevelopment. Then it integrated using the method of principal components analysis andcoordination index to evaluate the coordination of joint development through calculating theindividual level of development and comparing coordination fitness of the two industries. Underthe results of coordination analysis, the article put forward some framework recommendations topromote the two industries developing coordinated from the aspects of outsourcing themanufacturing logistics, enhancing the service capabilities of logistics industry andindemnification of the Government and relevant industry associations.
