The key problem of production management in steel-making plant is production scheduling of the vanadium extraction-steelmaking process. The characteristics of traditional production scheduling mode are long cycle and high costs, which not only affected the prductive efficiency, but also couldn't meet the need of the market. Therefore, reasonable optimizing the production scheduling of the vanadium extraction-steelmaking process is essential to reduce costs, decrease the material and energy consumption, rationalize and integrate the production management.Production process of vanadium extraction-steelmaking is very complex, which has some limitations, such as multi-objective, multi-constrains. This dissertation is to investigate production scheduling optimization method for vanadium extraction- steelmaking process, and to establish a production scheduling optimization model and a feasibile production scheduling plan. The method of search solving is based on genetic algorithm and the technology of computer simulation, which can shorten production cycle, achieve smooth production logistics, and increase the steel-making plant's core competitiveness.Firstly, network method is introduced to describe the complex production process and express the logical relation between working procedures and processing units by analyzing the characteristics of production. Secondly, a optimal model is established with sequence as constraints and minimal flow time and waiting time of all furnaces as targets. Thirdly, based on the model, genetic algorithm which uses the processing paths of all furnaces as chromosomes and the target function as fitness function is designed to solve the model. Because eM-Plant software has an excellent simulation function with the inner genetic algorithm included, it is used to simulate the production scheduling and to show the procedure, which is helpful to make decision for reasonable production arrangement and to enhance the prductive efficiency. Finally, using a steel-making plant as an example, it's production process is analyzed, simulated and optimized. The result are as follows:①The method based on genetic algorithm and simulation shortens the production time. The flow time of average furnace is 6 minutes less than the present production time.②Considering reducing the flow time, the method makes all waiting time 0 minute, and keep the production stable.③The method is adaptable and expansive, it can meet the requirements of different tasks and different scheduling plans.Optimization based on genetic algorithm and simulation for production scheduling of vanadium extraction-steelmaking process is the core of this dissertation. Through the human-computer interface of eM-Plant, the whole space-time information of the practical production process is known, which makes the production management of steel-making plant more standard and more scientific.Study on optimization and simulation for production scheduling of vanadium extraction-steelmaking process is a big subject. The method proposed to solve the problem of vanadium extraction-steelmaking production scheduling provides a thought for improvement of production logistics and equipoise resources. It has a theoretical and practical importance.
