Yunnan Province Foreign Trade And Sustainable Development Of Empirical Research

After joining into WTO, China has been going through a dramatic development in international trading, changing from a closed and undeveloped agricultural country to a great country with a powerful external trading. By 2010, China has become the second largest trading country, with its exporting amount slightly lesser than Germany. Our importing and exporting amount has reached to 2.97276 trillion U.S. dollars in 2010, which is 34.7% bigger than the amount in 2009(1.5779.3 trillion). How to keep this promising growth rate of international trading is a pivotal issue on the background of quick development of China's international trading. Because of the serious financial crisis in 2008, our country has faced unprecedented challenges in international trading, hindering the external-demand-driven economy. So we have to spare no effort in dealing with this issue by making out proper measures and adjusting the strategy of trading development.Base on its special geographical location and the guide of the eastern industrial transfer policy, Yunnan province has become the processing base of export market facing the Southeast Asia and South Asia in the modern development process. As a result, national economy and social condition has developed a rapid growth. As the same time, infrastructure has also been improved, including energy, telecommunications, and transportation, etc. With the rapid development of export-oriented economy, Yunnan's economy has dramatically improved and the the industrialization process has been accelerated to a brand new level. However, as other provinces, environmental pollution and contamination has become the biggest drawback toward the development of export-oriented economy. In conclusion, how to realize sustainable development and how to guarantee the harmony of export oriented economy and the protection of native environment seems to be the current problem of us.Based on the generation and evolution of the sustainable development theory, combined with traditional trade theories, my article probe into the the meaning of sustainable development of foreign trade. And I use previous researches as a source of reference to divide the sustainable development of foreign trade into three parts,: sustainable development of the economy, sustainable development of the society, ecological environment and sustainable development. And previous research methods and experiences are systematically analyzed based on theoretical research. Through the use of entropy method, the trade indicators influencing of the sustainable development were weighted to construct the index system of sustainable development of foreign trade. In the analysis of Yunnan Province renewable resources and non-renewable resources based on the current situation of foreign trade, foreign trade, 2000-2009 in Yunnan province continued to analyze and evaluate trends, analyze problems and make recommendations accordingly, I hope by adjusting the industrial structure, environmental costs internalization, and promote trade and environment-friendly development, upgrade products in the international market competitiveness and achieve the goal of sustainable development of foreign trade.
