This paper aims on studying biomass power generation development strategy in the next five years of Wuhan Kaida Power Investment Holding Co., Ltd. (hereafter abbreviated as Kaida Power) on the basis of strategy management theory. With the exhaustion of fossil energy, nuclear, hydropower, wind power and biomass power have become an important part for our national's strategic new industry. Under the circumstance that our country with abundant biomass resources such as agricultural crops straw and rice husk, the potential for mass development of biomass power is highly feasible. However, due to the shortfall of effective and reasonable strategic planning and slow adoption of favorable policy, more and more biomass power plants are operating under deficit. Struggling under such rigorous market circumstance, Encountered with such rigorous market circumstance, Kaida Power, as a domestic power plant environmental enterprise, has subjects which need to be resolved urgently to improve core competence interiorly and find way to distinction in difficulties exteriorly.This paper referenced from the recent development of Kaida Power's biomass energy, which analyses various factors. In interior factor analysis, it emphasizes in aspects of operation capability, financial capability, research and exploiture capability, talented personnel superiority and so on, displays advantages and disadvantages of the company. In exterior factor analysis, it emphasizes on national macro economic environment, industrial policy environment, environment and social factors. And in industrial competition environment analysis, applies Porter five competition power analysis model to analyze present competitor, potential competitor, substitute product, supplier and purchase, and explores opportunities and threats experienced from exterior environment. As per the conclusion of strategic analysis, this paper initiates 5-year development strategy of Kaida Power biomass energy.This paper aims at analysis on various factors which affects Kaida Power biomass energy business development, clarifies personal strategic view on Kaida Power biomass energy development. The author hopes to provide certain inspiration for Kaida Power during its establishment of biomass energy development strategy.
