On the one hand, the trend of supply of the agricultural products in China has changed from shortage to over supply, which makes it increasingly difficult for agricultural products to realize their value and for farmers to increase their incomes despite a good harvest; on the other hand, the scattered and weak operating model in China formed after the reform and opening up can no longer suit the modern agricultural market with fierce competition and change. It is especially obvious that the poorly organized domestic agricultural products operators can hardly compete with some big international corporations. As a mass agricultural products organization, the Agricultural Products Association has been growing along with the development of China's reform and opening up, and has become a prompter of the modernization of agriculture and played a positive role in enhancing the degree of institutionalization of agricultural products. There have been many positive theoretical results of research on Agricultural Products Association in recent years, and the Agricultural Products Association has been playing an increasingly important role in service industry.With the Social Capital Theory and Non-Governmental Organization Theory as its theoretical bases, this thesis conducts a study on Agricultural Products Association. It investigates the role of the three important components of Social Capital Theory, namely, trust, interpersonal relation network and interpersonal relation regulations in promoting the development of Agricultural Products Association.
