The marketing circle has concerned Integrated Marketing (IM) extensively since 1990s. Integrated Marketing is a deep thought on marketing activities' rules, the theory requires enterprises to analyze customers' demands with a new view, and to set up competitive advantages with a new marketing method. The tourism destinations are the most important constituent of competitions in tourist trade. With their importance in national and regional tourist development keeping increasing, the cities have now become the most destinations of tourism. For a long time, the main marketing methods in tourism destination are composed of marketing elements or key marketing, most of them are promotion. With the sustainable development of tourism destination, the integration of all kinds of marketing resources in tourism destination to manage tourist marketing better is objectively necessary.Based on Marketing theory and Management theory, this paper introduces Integrated Marketing theory in traditional marketing of tourism destination. This paper is to establish new integrated marketing theory in city tourism destination in order to study on marketing of tourism destination more systematically and scientifically.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Chapter one, the introduction, introduces such contents as the selected title background, realistic meaning, research frame and method, etc.Chapter two, the generation and development of Integrated Marketing, introduces mainly the background of IM, the inner meaning of IM and semantic shift.Chapter three, the necessity of implementation of IM in city destination. It explains related concepts and classified introduce the elements of tourism destination. It probes into current situation of city destination and testify the necessity of IM in city destination.
