Tourism is the world's largest industry, also the 21st century rising-sun industry. In the opinion of the State Council on accelerating the development of the tourism industry points out that "the tourism industry is a strategic industry, which has the advantage of low resource consumption, strong relevance with other industryies, more employment opportunities, comprehensive benefit. "Therefore, at all levels of government, more and more attention are paid to the development of the tourism industry, The tourism destination marketing is a new stratery that regard the tourism business, Tourism organizations and tourism attractions as a whole and to adapt to the competitive demands,also a new area for tourism proutice and theroy. System for tourist destinations in the world began in the 1970s, the systematic study of domestic tourism destination began in the 1990s, a successful tourist destination, is inseparable from the successful marketing efforts.Tai'an city having the title of "China excellent tourism city", with beautiful scenery, in addition to famous Dong Yue Taishan, there is rich tourism resources. How to market these outstanding tourist resources, and achieve the economic efficiency, environmental and social benefits,a public issue of common concern of the Government, all tourism enterprises in Taian city, as well as all members.After reform and opening up of more than 30 years of development of tourism in Taian city, although much progress has been made, but there are still fewer repeat customers, not-keepping tourists, tourism destination single image positioning inaccuracy, tourism products and the lack of content, and many other issues.
