With the fast development of our country' s economy and globalization of interior market, a lot of industrial markets head for maturity gradually, plus the entrance of a mass of foreign-funded enterprises, the market competition of a lot of industry suddenly get into a white-heat. The enterprise of our country can hardly adapt to thus rigorous market competition situation that changed all of a sudden because they are accustomed to the traditional plan system. Under the circumstance that the consume idea of our country' s consumer tend to reasonableness gradually, the hazy marketing consciousness of the enterprise in our country is subjected to a rigorous challenge. The competition between companies is the competition with competitive advantage. If the business enterprise wants to occupy and keep a beneficial competitive position that compared with its rival on the mature market over a long period of time, it has to own competitive advantage opposite of its rival. But how to figure the competitive advantage of the business enterprise? The valid marketing activity is one of the important ways that the business enterprise obtains competitive advantage.The main contents of strategic marketing theory are included of how to get and keep the competitive advantage through effective marketing activity . It provides the theories support and the method direction to obtain competitive advantage through the marketing activity for the business enterprise. this theory is very important for our domestic enterprise to compete with foreign company at present, especially for the enterprise compete in mature market.As marketing is the key point for the complement of enterprise ' s strategic target , it is still limited at a low level in taking 4P as a main contents and pursuing sub-effect in most domestic enterprises currently . This kind of marketing mode dissevers the contact of the total strategy and the marketing , and precludes the establishment and keeping of long-term market competitive advantage. In this case, renewing the marketing idea as soon as possible, controlling strategic marketing theories and setting up strong competitive advantage through strategic marketing become the inevitable choice for domestic enterprises to reply vehement market competition and acquire farsighted development.
