With the country's economic development, logistics and distribution as the breakthrough of "the third profit source," has been given great attention and faster developed. Since reform and opening up, China's chain retail businesses has developed rapidly. After China's accession to the World Trade Organization, China's chain retail businesses face greater competition. 2005 is the first year of China's retail industry fully opened, the Commerce Department approved the establishment of 1,027 foreign-funded companies, the figure was 12 years ago authorized the establishment of three times the total foreign Commercial enterprises. As of the end of 2005, 80% of the 50 largest global retail enterprises have entered China marketing. With foreign capital pouring into the retail industry, domestic retail get advanced management concepts and marketing methods. But also the foreign capital's coming exacerbated the domestic chain retail market competition.Chain retail development and distribution are closely linked. The level of distribution of one chain enterprise is a key standard measuring the level of modernization in the management. The distribution pattern directly affects the quality of the retail chain enterprises distribution level. The choice of what kind of distribution model for the retail chain enterprises is an important issue, also a strategic issue. At this stage, the retail chain enterprises using what type of distribution model is a hot issue of discussion.The domestic research about the retail chain enterprises how to choose the mode of distribution has not form a relevant research system. On the stage, there is no absolute claim about what distribution model should Chinese retail chain enterprises use. This paper researches to explore the chain retail enterprise distribution model options based on the relevant theories of chain operations and logistics distribution.The third chapter summarizes the status of Chinese chain of retail enterprise distribution patterns, analyses the status of the distribution of the chain retail enterprises, and puts forward inadequacies.
