In the era of the new economy, enterprises must have the ability to realize their economic values from their assets of knowledge and information. However, despite of the competitive necessity of becoming a knowledge-based organization, many enterprises found it difficult to organize learning effectively in practice. In order to elaborate the influence that successful organizational learning will bring to enterprises and the preconditions that can make the organizational leaning successful, this research examines the constitutions of the effective organizational learning capabilities, and discusses the relationship between firm performance and organizational learning from the perspective of organizational learning capabilities. Hopefully, his research can provide a theoretical guidance for Chinese enterprises to carry out organizational learning effectively.First of all, the dissertation reviews the abundant literature, summarizes some key concepts, sets the boundary of the research subjects, clarifies the theoretical rationale, and concludes the functional mechanism of the research objects. Based on these efforts, the dissertation puts forward a conceptual model of the relationship between organizational learning capabilities as well as their influence factors and the firm performance. Finally, on the foundation of the theoretical analysis, the dissertation brings forward a research model and some hypothesis for the empirical research, makes some investigations including interviews and questionnaire on 242 enterprises, and analyzes the results with the corresponding analysis software such as SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 4.0.According to the investigation results and data analysis, several research conclusions are drawn and the research model and hypotheses are adjusted.
