At present many enterprises in China have already built up quality management system according to the requirements of ISO9000 series and acquired the certification in terms of quality management. By means of certification those Chinese enterprises enhanced quality awareness, expanded vision of quality management and improved in formalization and normalization of management. Nevertheless, currently motives of some enterprises are not pure, certification itself becomes a business in China more or less and especially some of media exaggerate and misunderstand the certification. All of the above cause that quality management level of some certificated enterprises cannot reach the benchmark of ISO9000. The target of those certificated enterprises is just to have a certification paper in hand. After certifications papers are acquired both the management and product quality of those enterprises are not improved but even declined. Although some other certificated enterprises did want to improve management through the process of certification, they did not reach the expected levels, especially in the areas of customer focus, cost reduction and profit increasing. These enterprises, which just stay in the phase of keeping management system compliant with standard, can not achieve consistent improvement in terms of management system and gain added-value through certification. Thus how to improve the quality management system consistently and implement its accelerator functionalities in the development of enterprises become the topics deserved to be investigated in the area of quality management system.This paper analyzes the research hotspot in the area of the standards for quality management system, and focuses on the core issue which is how certificated enterprises improve their quality management system consistently. This paper illustrates SW company and depicts how SW implemented a valid quality management system which is compliant with ISO9000. Since 1999, when SW acquired the ISO9000 certification, the advanced management approaches of ISO quality management system have been employed in SW for more than seven years. Since then the problems in terms of quality management were discovered in annual audits and management reviews in SW. And in the next audit year SW would focus on those management issues, find the solutions to them and apply the solutions. Thus SW has always adjusted, improved and perfected the quality management system. In SW the consistent improvements of the system has been achieved even after the ISO9000 certification was acquired. SW experiences can be used as approaches in terms of consistent improvement for all kinds of organizations.
