Internal Audit Effectiveness Study Of Company G’s Quality Management System

The current world is fast developing, no matter which single company is facing more and more competition in global marketing. In the mean time, there are also oppotunities and charllenges. How to survive and how to develop is really a serious question to every company. A company lives on its products, which can sale in market. But, market is always changing. Higher and higher requirements have been expected to all products, and it makes similar products harder to survive. This battle of surviving has been moved to the field of quality. In order to improve quality management level, setting up a whole system of quality management and keeping continuous execution is the only way out, which leads to improvement of product quality. Internal audit is an important discipline of the quality management system to verify and ensure continuous implementation of quality management system; and a necessary approach to carry out company’s quality system self-check and find out system execution problem and raise improvement proposal. How to optimize the internal audit institution and how to carry out internal audit effectively should be carefully studied by all companies after ISO certification.This paper uses the ISO9000internal audit activities of company G as example to try to study in two different fields:theoretics and practice, which bases on international quality management system standard and the morden quality management theory. Firstly it introduced the concept and function of quality management system and internal audit. Then proceeded with deep data analysis and summary of existing problems by case study of company G using "TQM and QC7tools". The major problems of poor effectiveness of internal audit are:lacking of quaity sense all over company, company’s e-maagement system and processes are old and need upgrade, auditor’s skill level need to be improved, all departments need to optimize their training systems. Then to gathered all departments and worked out proposals and put to implement. Helped improving company’s quality management system, pushed to strengthen quality management level and products’quality.This paper studies based on company G’s real historic data, has practical value in pushing company G to improve quality system set up, can also provide reference to companies with needs of impoving internal audit effectiveness.
