| The telecom industry in China is now in great change. All of the factors such as the adjustment of this industry by the government, the promotion of 3G technology and the keen market competition will certainly produce an effect on the mobile communication company. As an enterprise which is labor-intensive, capital-intensive and technology-intensive, the mobile communication company has carried out many complex and arduous project to satisfy the customers'requirements, including the management of the investments, the personnel and the profiles, the organization of a mass of information and the communication between different departments. Due to different scales, structures of and requirements for different projects and different time arrangements of and resources requirements for different tasks within the same project, different rates of progress, cost and effect of the projects are to be produced.Since the specialization level of the operation support system is high, the actualization of project management has been formalized and the mobile communication company has formulated its own project management methods in the project management, including WBS disassemble template, planning template, actualization template, project bylaws and project information analyses etc., which function directly to some extent. Along with the requirement for fine management, a scientific, perfect and practical project management support system is needed to meet various challenges.The author of the present thesis has accumulated certain experiences in the project management of business operation support system since 2001.Based on his past experiences and further study for project management in UESTC, the author combined the international project management theories with his experiences and thus brought the project management system in the communication mobile company to completion. The author hopes that a more perfect project management support system for the business operation support system can be achieved through the study on the problems in the construction of Sichuan mobile BOSS1.5 system so as to promote the project project management efficiency and strengthen the enterprise's ability for innovation, reform and competition. The author also wishes that the project management methods, which are explored in the practice, could be the basis for the achievement of the business operation support system. |
