How to choose suppliers quickly and effectively has long been a difficult problem that puzzles the beer dealers. They tend to be too subjective and one-sided while selecting proper suppliers. Therefore, both the information cost and the commodity cost between the sellers and suppliers increase, and the reaction speed to customer demand slows down. As a result, the enterprise is out of stock or faces stock backlog, which finally reduces profit. How to solve the problem? The key lies in seeking a way that effectively coordinates the relationship between the beer dealer and the supplier in order to develop win-win situation, and establishing a new set of evaluating system on this foundation. So the supply chain theory is introduced. The difference between supply chain management and other views is that it emphasizes win-win principle, agility, and flexibility. It can effectively coordinate the activities between enterprise and suppliers so as to make the two parties reach the maximum advantages. Therefore, it reduces the information cost and the commodity cost between the beer dealer and suppliers, and speeds up reaction rate to the customer demand.Based on the supply chain theory, standing at the point of beer dealers, this paper discusses factors that influence supplier selection other than the traditional ones. That is, the cooperative relations between the suppliers and the dealers as well as service which make the rapid reaction to the market demand possible. And based on above discussion, an evaluating system of choosing suppliers for beer dealers is built. As quantitative analysis, Fuzzy-Analysis-Hierarchy-Process is introduced mainly. Finally, as a case study, a choosing model using FAHP is applied to the work's supplier-evaluating system.
