Jimo City, Coastal Tourism And Sustainable Development

The development of modern tourism must keep to the principle of sustainabledevelopment, which is the requirement of modern times and necessity of development.Exploiting coastal tourism relying on the coastal tourism resources is characterized bysmall investments, quick results and high profits. Ecological fragility in the coastal areasmakes the tourism development of coastal areas obey the principle of a sustainabledevelopment. Only in this way can we unite tourism and nature, culture and environmentharmoniously, unite the economic profits, social profits and ecological profits of tourism.Therefore it has far-reaching importance to make a study of the sustainable developmentof coastal areas tourism.Making a study of sustainable development of Jimo coastal tourism, on the basis ofits development background through the field investigation, this article discusses the basictheories of tourism sustainable development and related theories, analyzes the backgroundand basis of the coastal tourism development of Jimo. It also points out the exploitingbasis and present situation of Jimo coastal tourism, analyzes the tourism resourceconditions, market conditions and problems of Jimo coastal tourism development. Basedon these analyses, this article makes SWOT analysis of Jimo coastal tourism. Next, thisarticle makes a study of sustainable development of Jimo coastal tourism from the threeaspects: analysis of space development and product development (development),benefits coordination (coordination) and protection of resources and environment(continuity).
