Electric Commerce is one of the most important aspects of the internet to emerge. It is a useful general term for the conduct of business with the assistance of telecommunications and telecommunications-based tool. It allows people to exchange goods and services immediately and with no barriers of time or distance. According to the principal parts of the transaction, E-Commerce market can be divided into five categories: B2C, B2B, B2G, C2G, and C2C. What we discussed in this thesis is C2C.C2C market has developed very fast in all over the world during the past years. The pearl of the C2C eBusinesses is Ebay, one of the biggest and most famouse online auction website. C2C E-commerce also developed fast in china. Because of the improving of the environment, Chinese people are used to accept online business. The trading volume of C2C market in china is growing year by year. The turnover of C2C market in China was 0.4 billion RMB in 2001, and it became 13.71 billion RMB in 2005,the growth rate is 142.0%. Thus it can be seen that C2C E-Commerce has grown rapidly and people's passion of online business are increasing too. The development trend of C2C E-Commerce will include the following five aspects:1,The number of user will increase, amount of trading will also increase rapidly2,Competition will increase dramatically, result in the matureness of the C2C market3,Amalgamation and innovation of multimode4,Charge in the appropriate time5,InternationalizationThe leading companies of C2C market in china are Taobao, Ebay,and Paipai. Taobao is the biggest C2C online service provider in china. With consecutive new businesses functioning online, Taobao attracts more and more sellers and buyers. Resorted to the huge number of QQ users, many young buyers and sellers get together in PaiPai. After one year steady development, eBay and Tom Online established a joint venture at the end of 2006. The new company has the network operator's resource of Tom Online and has a rapid responding team which understands Chinese market. It is a powerful competitor to Taobao. There are different characteristics of these three companies in online auction, profit mode, payment method, logistics mode , communication method, search engine, and marketing strategy. They are good references for ECity Nanning.In 2007, Nanning Telecom introduced an important business: ECity Nanning which is a information retrieval system based on a localization and visual 3D map. It can provides many information including dressing, eating, living and traveling. Depending on the strength of the government, the cooperation of CP/SPs and enterprises, ECity Nanning will cover the city's urban and rural and will establish a new service-oriented corporate image of China Telecom. ECity Nanning can provide various business models, such as e-commerce, e-education, e-government, e-finance and advertising revenue. In Chapter IV, we discussed the application of C2C business in ECity Nanning.
