The domestic banking industry's competition becomes fiercer day by day, and competition among banks is actually that of the talented. WUXI city commercial bank, for instance, the author has done some research about, whose human resources management turns out that brain drain is serious. The reason is that its salary and compensation management system is not reasonable enough so as not to keep talented employees, which is commonplace. To survive in the fierce financial competition and develop better, the city commercial banks must promote the competitiveness in the human resource market, and attract and detain the talented person by raising its salary and compensation management level.According to salary and compensation management theory of haman resource management, referencing the foreign commercial bank's successful methods of salary and compensation management, the author, taking Wuxi commercial banks as an example, has known about evaluations and views of from sub-branches managers to the ordinary staffs about salary and compensation management of it by the way of working interviews and questionnaire surveys. And the author, on the basis of it, has pointed out the main problems of salary and compensation in Wuxi commercial banks, and put forward to suggestions to better it.
