Non-Market Economy is by no means a pure economic concept, while it originates from state control economy, being in link with trade protectionism and cold war thought. As there is no specific and detailed definition about Non-Market Economic Status, China's non-MES has become an unsolved problem after China's entry into WTO.Evidences show that China has made tremendous progress in its market economic development, at the same time, domestic and foreign research outcome has proved that China is a market economy. As a lot of western countries denied China's MES, it exerts ill effect on our foreign trade. At the same time, Chinese enterprises have paid tremendous cost for China's MES in foreign trade. To safeguard fairness of WTO, China should spare no efforts to seek fair treatment from governmental, industrial, enterprise and other levels.
