Knowledge-based Economy In The Context Of Sustainable Development Tour Of The Anshan Iron And Steel Reform

China entered knowledge-based economy era in the mid-1990s. Knowledge-based economy has turned from abstract concept into specific concept contained in material economics. Meanwhile, China conformed to the trend of international sustainable development, worked out China 21^st century agenda and formulated sustainable development strategy.The development of resource-oriented enterprises has consumed many resources, destroying the ecology environment in China over a period of time. If we stick to this traditional mode of extensive development, resource-oriented enterprises will soon come to an end. This paper seeks to study how resource-oriented enterprises achieve its development in the background of knowledge-based economy and sustainable development.There are many studies on knowledge-based economy, sustainable development and enterprises. But the studies of knowledge-based economy and sustainable development's effect on enterprises are few. The innovation of this paper is that I analyze the effect of knowledge-based economy and sustainable development on enterprises using cases from the point of view of enterprises and research how enterprises achieve its development in the background of knowledge-based economy and sustainable development.This paper discusses that the essence of knowledge-based economy is knowledge innovation as far as enterprises. Knowledge innovation includes concept innovation, management innovation, institution innovation and technology innovation. Independent research and development is very important in technological innovation. Anshan Steel Group conducts knowledge innovation aims at achieving its development. As one of the actor local sustainable development, Anshan Steel Group explored models of circulation economy which makes the efficiency of enterprises and social benefits be in a win-win situation. So circulation economy is the only way to enterprises development. To test the result of Anshan Steel Group's reform, this paper evaluated the competitive ability of seven major steel enterprises including Anshan Steel Group using factor analysis method and showed that the competitiveness of Anshan Steel Group was only inferior to Baoshan Steel Group, and the result of Anshan Steel Group's reform is obvious.The ultimate conclusion is that only by balancing the current and long-term interests, carrying on knowledge innovation, improving product structure, raising the proportion of high value-added products, and developing circulation economy with the help of high-tech, can resource-oriented enterprises be invincible.
