With the development of economy and the specialization of social division of labor, the third party logistics (TPL) has developed rapidly through its characteristic of specialization communication and network. Manufacturing and commercial companies relegate their logistics issues to the third party logistics companies with the restriction of contract in order to do their core business better. They will keep close contract with the TPL companies through IT system in order to get control and management of the whole process. In the developed countries, the TPL has the praise of accelerator of companies' development and golden industry in the 21 century. In China, the TPL industry is in the junior step, and people in this field have already realized its importance. Compared with that in the developed countries, the development of TPL industry in China has lagged a lot for the restriction of capital technology and conception. Based on the circumstances, the text is aimed to conduct analyses and comparison of TPL industry both at home and abroad to explain how the domestic TPL companies survive in the current environment.Choosing TPL industry as its research object and marketing structure conduct performance (SCP) which belongs to industrial organization theory as its basic frame of theory, the text elicits the strategic proposal for the development of TPL companies through analyses and comparison of structure conduct and performance of the market. During the process of market structure analyses, it selects market convergence, differences of services, benefit of scales and the bulwark for entrance and exit as the main indexes to conduct detailed research. It also conducts measurable research of some service which TPL provides by the statistic software SPSS to find out the direction of carrying out differences of services. The text investigates the market conduct through the indexes of price and recombining. It also get the conclusion that the TPL companies both at home and abroad put more and more importance on selecting suitable strategy to enhance the market share and improve the core competitive abilities. The text analyzes the market performance through efficiency of resource configuration, profit margin of the industry and the degree of technological improvement, which has the function of evaluating the reasonableness and the validity of the market structure and conduct via the actual circumstance of the market. According to the research of TPL industry under the SCP frame, the text elicits that the domestic TPL industry is in its junior step with monopoly-competition structure, especially in the bottom level market which has excessive competition. Price policy is widely used by the TPL companies which lead to the swart competition. Most of the state-owned and the new private-owned TPL companies have already realized the importance of strategic conformity, and carried out the recombining and strategic conformity to improve their core competitive abilities. The profit margin of TPL industry has the downtrend, and the efficiency of logistics resource configuration need to improve for a further step. Based on the above, it puts forward that the TPL companies should transfer to the top level market according to their own situation to avoid the swart competition of price war and establish their core competitive abilities by winning customs' loyalty through different services.
