Zhoushan Port Bulk Cargo Transport Study

Zhou Shan is the hub of China's coastline and the Yangtze River. The economic, scientific and technological level of Yangtze Delta, have promoted the island's economic development. Developing bulk cargo transportation is the medium and long term strategic planning of Zhou Shan Port. This thesis analyzes cargo category, transport capacity, port layout, and the action of government. The purpose is to provide reference for Zhou Shan government.The first chapter introduces the status quo of Zhou Shan Port from the port, and goods constitutes. In the second chapter I use qualitative analysis method for the Yangtze River resources and industrial conditions. Chapter three forecast four mainly bulks' throughput situation with a lot of statistical charts; In Chapter four I cited a method that the Louis Berger Group of United States once used it to analysis in Yang Shan port projects. With it I get the result that Zhou Shan bulk terminal construction investment impacts Yangtze valley. The final chapter focuses on the Zhou Shan Port strategic planning.The thesis mainly uses statistical method of regression, modeling methods, and strategic analytical method. All the data have a clear source.In short, through the analysis of thesis, I think that the Zhou Shan Port staple bulk cargo transportation strategy is feasible and can get more benefits. Regional economic development plays a decisive role in the Zhou Shan city. And the development of Zhou Shan ports and terminals investment, will contribute significantly to the Yangtze valley economic development. Therefore the conclusions of this thesis have an important guiding significance to practice.
