Today, precision marketing is a hot spot in the field of world marketing. Marketing of database is an important method of precision marketing. It is a new trend of marketing area, which providing a good basis and means for marketing innovation. Studying in depth and importing the new idea of database marketing will not only help to improve the management of precision in telecommunications but also being consequential to the restructuring of domestic telecommunications enterprises.I have the experiences of been worked in the telecommunications industry for several years, so that I know about the precision marketing of telecommunications industry in particular the database marketing. The main purpose of this paper is to sum up the experiences of working, and to carry out the exploration of database marketing in upgrading the value of telecom customers, which based on the development of the telecommunications industry.The basic theory of the database marketing which I mentioned at the beginning of the paper is the basis of interpreting the status and function of the database marketing in the development of an enterprise, the basic requirements and the key elements. It laid a theoretical foundation for me to solve the problems I have met in studying. I have made a practicing to analyze the strategic direction of the development of telecommunications, the value of customer, the status and requirements of the database marketing, especially the advantages and process of its application in telecommunications enterprise. Based on the theoretical thinking about the telecommunications enterprises'database marketing and the strategy of development, I have introduced the condition of U Company in details, which according to my own working conditions and the environment of U Company. Those items such as different network customers` digging, the customers upgrade, the small secretary of stocks and the Unicom business travel were regarded as the exploratory experiences in the process of using database marketing. All these have helped me to check out the theory that I have studies.Through this paper, I profoundly explained the function and the implementation methods of the database marketing to upgrading the value of telecom customer. And also put a concrete idea of how to make full use of the own advantages and how to enhance the customer value by precision marketing in current competitive situation. Both the theoretical analyze and practical examples have great meanings to help the telecom enterprise to learn from.
