Integration Of Research, Based On The Technical Capabilities Of Industrial Clusters Of The Network Structure

Under the trend of globalization, cluster industry dominates the economic world. Chinese cluster industry has accumulated good technological capability after years of development. However, as a special network organization, it doesn't give full play to its function of integration and show its competitive advantage as a whole. This study analyzes the integration of technological capabilities of cluster industry from the perspective of network structure. It aims to increase the competitive advantage of the cluster as a whole by attempting to construct the analysis framework of the technological capability integration of cluster industry, through introducing cluster technological learning.First, this paper makes a review of previous studies and concludes the theoretical significance of the study, providing a basis for following hypothesis and theories. The network structure of cluster industry provides conditions for the integration of cluster technological capabilities. And the paper analyzes the inner-relations among the cluster network structure, cluster technological learning and the integration of cluster technological capabilities. It discusses about the different ways to integrate the cluster technological capabilities through technological learning, according to the characteristics of the cluster, under different network structures. This study classifies the cluster network structures into small atomic-cluster, intermediate cluster and leading-firms dominanted cluster. And it divides the cluster technological learning into three mechanisms as experiential learning, imitative learning and purchase learning, with seven specific methods. And according to the relations among the technological bodies of the cluster, it divides the integration of cluster technological capabilities into three dimensions as horizontal, vertical and diagonal.Second, this paper investigates the integration status of technological capabilities under different network structures, through surveys and case studies. The paper proposed the measurement system for cluster technological capability integration. After deep analysis of three cluster industries in Zhuji, this paper derives the integration paths for technological capabilities, through statistically evaluating the integration situations of their technological capabilities, horizontally, vertically and diagonally. Besides, by adopting the statistical tools like SPSS13.0, this paper makes quantitative analysis of the 149 valid questionnaires from three cluster industries, including factor analysis, relatedness analysis, and regression. It found that the improvement of innovation performance and the integration of the three dimensions are significantly related.Third, the paper starts from three types of cluster network structures, and discusses how to optimize the integration path of cluster technological capabilities. And it gives suggestions on policies for cluster enterprises, enable organizations and government sectors to promote the integration of technological capabilities.Finally, this paper makes conclusions for the entire study, and makes classifications and explanations for them, on the basis of which it lists the weak points and suggested directions for future studies.
