The high instability rate of strategic alliance negatively affects the performance of alliance. To be armed at problems that alliances in operation always deviate from original cooperative plans, this article proposed a dynamics process framework of alliances based on alliance evolutionary theory. According to the change of alliance instability, the operation process of alliance is divided into three phases of initial formation, operation of 3 to 6 years, and operation over 6 years. Within each phase, the key inductive factors that may affect alliance instability are identified. The second phase is emphasized, because it's decisive to alliance instability. The framework provides insights and guidelines for managers to effectively improve instability of alliance.
