Supplier Management, For Oem Projects

OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer)is one kind of outsourcing among B to B(Business to Business) especially adapt by international company recent years. Up to now, the behavior of OEM supplier has more and more effect on project success such as delivery, quality, storage and design aspects. Brand owner need high supplier management to assure supplier chain running well. The purpose is developing potential supplier and get exactly product or service quality and quantity by lowest cost. So researching OEM supplier management become valuable.After analysis research status and weakness, based on analysis of OEM project characters, advantage and cooperation risk with supplier and combined with project management target, this article propose main aims for OEM project supplier management and divide into four aspects including supplier investigation, supplier evaluation and choosing method, quality audit and supplier relationship management.As to research method and conclusion aspects, firstly, this paper provide supplier request for information during factory audit phase. Secondly, it introduce in how to making quality audit and points distribution designing based on OEM . Next, for evaluating and choosing supplier this paper provide one structure design method to define items weight and choosing way from results. Finally, after comparing different supplier relationship advantage and disadvantage, this article suggest win-win relationship with supplier.
