As the biggest cell phone market of the world, the cell phone end user in China is over 500 million. Every year a large number of cell phone users will change their cell phone and many customers will buy their first cell phone. This huge market is so attractive that many foreign and local companies enter into the cell phone industry. China cell phone market has entered a fully competitive mature industry stage after nearly 20 years of development. Since the reshuffle in China cell phone industry intensified in 2007 , there has been a new round of industry optimization. With the release of 3G licence, cell phone market competition will become more furious. SD Telecom Co., Ltd., is confronted with the question how to base themselves and develop upon the more and more competitive cell phone market of China. This paper tries to provide effectual marketing solutions for SD Telecom, helps the company get victory in furious competition.Directed at the marketing strategies of SD Telecom ,with PEST model and five forces model, this paper dissertates exterior macro environment and the competitive circumstance and analyzes those exterior opportunities and threats that influence the company, advantages and disadvantages of SD Telecom by the SWOT analysis tools. Then cell phone market environment is analyzed by applying multi-analysis method. Four important indexes(market capacity, profit ability, potential development and company competition position) are used to evaluate and determine the target-market of SD Telecom. Finally the paper makes a detailed study of the marketing strategies of SD Telecom cell phone, stresses that SD Telecom should enhance its core competence to obtain more opportunity for survival and development in the furious game of cell phone industry with diverse cell phone product, diverse positioning strategy , diverse cell phone channel model and effective integration of value chain of cell phone.The object of this paper is to provide SD Telecom cell phone the beneficial reference for its improvement of competitive advantage and long-term development.
