West Beijing Suburb Travel Geographical Composition And Optimization Studies

Applying system theory of tourism region to analyze the western suburban area of Beijing, this thesis will take the analyzing method of 'Concept - Theory - Positive' as a whole and complementary to observe the tourist problems in the western suburban area of Beijing in systematic perspective and put forward some feasible measures of optimization.The first chapter is an introduction to this thesis, which discusses the origin, the research significance of the thesis and some methods used in this thesis, and at last puts forward the innovation points of this thesis.The first half of ChapterⅡis a summary of systematic theory of tourist region. The summary is mainly a generation and an evaluation of studying conditions, studying progress, studying results done by domestic and overseas tourist scholars. The second half is a discussion about regional system of tourism, which is the author's own opinion built on the results of previous studies. It mainly talks about the definition of regional system of tourism, and its mechanism, structure, function, and it also talks about the relations between tourism planning and regional system of tourism.ChapterⅢfirst gives the reason of choosing the western suburban area of Beijing as the study object of this thesis, and then analyzes the economic, social and cultural backgrounds of this area, followed by the discussion on the position of the tourist system in this area in the development of Beijing's tourism, and at last analyzes Beijing's tourist development conditions and the western suburban area of Beijing's opportunities.ChapterⅣis a specific application of systematic theory of tourist region, which is also the core content of this thesis and is the longest chapter. This chapter analyzes the tourist developmental conditions in the western suburban area of Beijing and existing problems respectively from the perspectives of tourist resources, tourist transportation, tourist acception and service, tourist image and marketing, and tourist management which is five subsystems of regional system tourism, and raises effective measures to existing problems of each subsystem.ChapterⅤdiscusses the optimization of regional system of tourism in the western suburban area of Beijing. It analyzes the existing problems of tourism in the western suburban area of Beijing in the overall operation, and provides an optimization direction mainly in terms of industrial structure and spatial structure.ChapterⅥis a conclusion of this thesis.
