Sustainable Development Based On Industry Clusters, Changzhou City Economic Development Zone

As an industrial organization and its spatial form, the industrial cluster looks higher economic value, especially in fields to play regional comparative superiorities and raise up regional competitiveness it has an important role. Therefore it has an important meaning to totally analyze and identify the developing state of the cluster of Changzhou Zhonglou Economic Development Zone, to accurately recognize comparative superiorities and existing problems of industrial development of Zhonglou Economic Development Zone thus to further grasp the trend of industrial development and to guide strategy of industrial development in order to push forward sustainable development of Zhonglou Economic Development Zone.The paper takes the industrial cluster of Zhonglou Economic Development Zone as the research object, on the basis of synthetic analysis of theoretical base, competitive superiority, theories of the industrial cluster of concept, formation and migration of the industrial cluster, and research of developing mode of the development zone, describes the developing state of the development zone and conditions of three major industrial clusters, summarizes the developing characteristics of the development zone. By means of SWOT analyzing method, the paper emphatically makes concrete analysis upon aspects of superiorities, inferiorities, opportunities and threatens of the industrial clusters in Zhonglou Economic Development Zone, introduces the road of success of the development zone to actively avoid enterprises in industries with high pollution and high energy consumption and those with resources and to create ecological park in combination with the developing strategy to "form featured industries and to build up famous brand of the park by dislocation competition and differential development" formulated by Zhonglou Economic Development Zone, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions of sustainable development of the development zone on the basis of the industrial cluster aiming at actual conditions in the locality.
