The Research Of Auto Parts Industrial Cluster In Kenly Economic Development Zone

In recent years, the Kenli Economic Development Zone has build the auto parts-based industrial structure, then becoming a leading power of Kenli County Economic Development and a open window to outside. However, the developing history of the auto parts industry cluster in Kenli Economic Development Zone is not very long. Industrial cluster is an effective combination of industry and region. Along with the increasing global competition, industrial cluster will become the only way of the auto parts industry to grow and to develop. In order to promote the development of the auto parts industry in Kenli Economic Development Zone and then serve the regional economy, this paper, on the basis of industrial cluster literature, collected the information of the auto parts industry in Kenli Economic Development Zone, identified whether this auto parts industry has formed industrial cluster through the location quotient analysis, and analyzed its internal strengths and weaknesses, external opportunities and threats through SWOT analysis. Then, according to the SWOT matrix, this paper put forward some specific strategies to promote the develpment of the auto parts industry mainly from the government level and industry level. The anlysis showes that the auto parts industry in Kenli Economic Development Zone has formed industrial clusters, and is in a rapid development stage. In one hand, the Kenli Economic Development Zone has certain location and service advantage, and the auto parts there has strong momentum of development, in the context of the booming of th auto parts industry and the two national strategies “Yellow-Blue”. In the other hand, this auto parts industry has a weak foundation, and also is facing the threat of national and regional industry competition. In response to the situation of the auto parts industry in Kenli Economic Development Zone, this parper proposes four strategies: change the “investment promotion” to the “investment selection”, further improve and lengthen the auto parts industry chain, to build the brand of the auto parts industrial cluster in Kenli Economic Development Zone, and highlight the construation and service to perfect the development environment. This paper enriches the research of county auto parts industry cluster, and provides some references for decision-makers in relevant departments.
